TERMS AND CONDITIONs
These general terms and conditions apply in their entirety to the dog boarding service provided by Kleen K9 (hereinafter the "Pension") to the owner of a dog (hereinafter the Client).

OBLIGATIONS OF KLEEN K9 BOARDING KENNEL
​
Kleen K9 Boarding Kennel is only authorized to welcome dogs.
The price and services offered are presented in a table available to customers.
The kennel is cleaned and disinfected every day as well as when the animal returns home.
CONDITIONS REQUIRED FOR THE DOG TO BE ENTRUSTED TO KLEEN K9 BOARDING KENNEL

The dog:
• Must be at least 6 months old.
• Must be identified by a tattoo or microchip, and have a document attesting to the identification.
• have a vaccination record stating that the animal has been vaccinated against distemper, Rubarth's hepatitis and parvovirus (validity of vaccines dated less than 2 years old at the time of the visit); and against leptospirosis and kennel cough (validity of vaccines dated less than one year at the time of the visit).
• must not have been in contact with rabid animals in the last six months and must not be restricted by the health authorities.
• Must not be sensitive to environmental noises: barking from other dogs.

It is recommended to deworm your dog and protect it against ticks, fleas, etc. before the stay.

Catagory 2 dogs:
• The animal must be vaccinated against rabies after the age of three months, which is valid.
• The rabies vaccination certificate, issued by the veterinarian who carried out the vaccination, must mention the date of the primary vaccination or booster vaccination, the name and batch number of the vaccine used, the date of the next booster and the identification number of the animal.
• This animal must be accompanied by a health certificate in French, drawn up by an official veterinarian in the country of origin.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENT
​
The dog can only be dropped off and picked up by the Client unless prearranged.
For a 2nd category dog, the Client must present a "certificate of fitness" to keep such a dog, and a certificate of civil liability insurance for the dog.
At the time of booking, the Client must inform the Kleen K9 of any health problems, medical treatments, or character problems specific to their pet.
The Pension reserves the right to refuse the reservation if it deems the elements communicated too serious to be managed within it.
The Pension reserves the right to refuse to accept an animal whose health problems, medical treatment, or character problems have not been reported at the time of booking.
In the latter case, no refund can be made.

AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
​
• If a dog is undergoing medical treatment (light treatment with a prescription), light care can be given free of charge. In this case, the Client will provide all the necessary elements for the treatment, and the prescription will be kept at the Pension for the duration of the stay.
• The Client can leave toys, cuddly toys, and his basket with his dog, but Kleen K9 Boarding Kennel cannot be held responsible if these are damaged.
• No dog in heat will be accepted.
• If an animal requires urgent care, Kleen K9 Boarding Kennel is authorised - unless otherwise specified in writing by the Client - to call on a veterinarian at the Client's expense, and without any recourse of any kind whatsoever being exercised by the Client against the Kleen K9 Boarding Kennel.
• In the event of the death of an animal during its stay, Kleen K9 Boarding Kennel is authorised - unless otherwise specified in writing by the Client and after having notified the Client - to call on the SIFDDA, at the client's expense and without any recourse of any kind whatsoever being exercised by the owner against Kleen K9 Boarding Kennel. In the event that the Client wishes to have an autopsy of his dog, it will also be at his expense.
• Each Client dropping off an animal at Kleen K9 Boarding Kennel must ensure the opening and closing hours of the reception.
• Any damage caused by the dog in the Boarding Kennel or its environment, in particular in the event of stress caused by the surrounding noise, its change of scenery, or the isolation of its owner, will be invoiced to the Client who will assume the responsibility; the Pension reserving a right of retention until full payment.
• If the staff of the Boarding deems a dog dangerous to themselves or their environment (Boarding staff, visitors, other animals, etc.), they may leave it in their box for the duration of their stay; no walk or outing is guaranteed and remains at the discretion of the Pension.
• The Pension declines all responsibility in the event of injury to the animal during its stay.
• The Pension cannot be held liable under any circumstances in the event of non-performance or poor performance attributable to the Client or to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party.

Any animal not taken back within 24 (twenty-four) hours after the end of the stay will be considered as voluntarily abandoned and handed over to the competent authorities or an animal protection association.
Pursuant to the provisions of Law No. 99-5 of 6 January 1999, it is recalled that the voluntary abandonment of a domesticated animal, tamed or kept in captivity, is punishable by the penalties provided for in Article 521-1 of the Penal Code, which may go up to a fine of 30,000 euros and up to 2 years of imprisonment.

ORDER - CANCELLATION
​
The Order is firm and final for the Client, who cannot cancel or modify it.
It is firm and final for the Pension after written confirmation (hereinafter Confirmation) of the Order by him, by electronic means. In the absence of a visit, whatever the cause, the Client will not be entitled to any refund from the Pension. If, before the scheduled date, the execution of the order is made impossible due to an external event that is necessary for the Pension, the latter will notify the Client as soon as possible and propose a modification or cancellation of the Order, by post or email.
The Client shall inform the Pension of his/her choice in writing as soon as possible.

RETRACTION
​
No right of withdrawal may be exercised within the framework of these Terms and Conditions, in the case of accommodation services on a specific date (Article L 121-21-8 (12°) of the Consumer Code).

PERSONAL DATA
​
In accordance with the legal provisions, Customers have the right to access, rectify and oppose personal data concerning them.
This right can be exercised by writing to the Pension at the address kleen-k9fr@hotmail.com and specifying the person's surname, first name and address. Subject to the Client's acceptance at the time of the Order, this personal data is subject to computer processing in order to provide information to Clients on the services and offers of the Pension Kleen K9.

Monday to Saturday: -10:00 – 12:00 and 16:00 – 18:00
Sundays and public holidays: closed

In application of the provisions of Law No. 99-5 of January 6, 1999, it is recalled that the voluntary abandonment of a domestic animal, tamed or kept in captivity, is punishable by the penalties provided for in Article 521-1 of the Penal Code, which may go up to a fine of €30,000 and up to 2 years of imprisonment.
