Food:
We have switched our two large dogs to the cold pressed food a few months ago, and we can honestly say this is by far the best dry dog food we have ever used. The dogs love it, and they are in fantastic shape. Their coats are super glossy, and their digestive health is great. No runny poops since the switch! Also, one bag goes a long way! Happy dogs, happy owners!!
Kennels:
We have been using Pension Canine Kleen K9 ever since we moved to France a few years ago, and this is without a doubt the best dog kennel in the area, and beyond! Back in the UK we always had dog sitters, and I was a bit wary of kennelling my dogs (1 very sensitive Dobermann boy and a feisty Rottweiler girl) but now I don't ever hesitate to leave them in Vickie's care, and I never worry about the pooches when we are away. The kennels are spacious and clean, all with an indoor and outdoor area, plus a large secure field for them to play and stretch their legs. They also get regular walks in the woods, and there are surveillance cameras installed in every kennel. My dogs always get very excited when we pull up at the kennels, they love their little holidays with Auntie Vickie. I highly recommend Pension Canine Kleen K9 and I would not leave my fur babies anywhere else!

We recently had to make a short notice trip and didn’t have time to organise our usual house / animal sitters so somewhat reluctantly I enquired about boarding our dog here, I say reluctantly only because kennels would never have been my first choice - but the short notice didn’t leave me many options.

I wanted to see the kennels and meet the owners before committing and Vickie and Simon were absolutely fine with that. As we arrived they were working one of their dogs in the training area and within 30 seconds I knew I’d be happy leaving my precious dog Storm with them. Their own dogs told me all I needed to know - beautiful condition, superbly trained and very importantly for me - happy, keen, friendly and clearly loved. Vickie and Simon showed us around the immaculate kennels and our chat just cemented my initial impression…. they are both passionate, knowledgeable and dedicated animal lovers. I had zero qualms and booked him in.
During our 10 day trip I received updates and photos showing him out for walks and playing in the securely fenced training area and he looked like his usual happy self. When we took him home he was completely unfazed by us being away, slotted back into our life as if we’d never gone! I was so impressed that despite having house / animal sitters organised for our next trip away I’ve booked Storm in again, I know he is happy there, I know he is in safe hands and I can relax on holiday and not worry.
I also now buy my dog food there, their dogs were in such fantastic condition I enquired about what they feed. I was pleased to learn they sell a great quality cold pressed complete feed - FangGold Cold Brik Adult. I had previously been having feed delivered from Germany as I wasn’t impressed with even the very expensive branded heat treated kibble that’s mostly sold here and could not find cold pressed feed locally. My dog loves the new feed, he looks great on it and it’s working out better value than his previous food.

I started feeding FangGold Cold Brik to my 7 year old labrador 6 months ago after it was recommended to me by her kennels. She’s always had a relatively sensitive stomach and finding food to suit her has been quite tricky but she adapted quickly to the cold pressed food from FangGold without any problems. She now easily maintains a healthy weight, her coat is shining and doesn’t seem to be hungry when she always was before! It’s also extremely good value for money, would 100% recommend.
Pension Canine Kleen K9 is professional, clean, safe and secure. The set up is perfect, dogs can enjoy a safe stay and a fun stay! Vicky is passionate about her business (and dogs!) and it shows. Each kennel has it’s own individual outside run, and in addition there is fantastic secure paddock where they can stretch their legs when it’s their time to play and have some individual attention! Leaving your dog with Vicky is as easy as it gets!
