ABOUT ME

My name is Vickie and I am the owner/founder of Kleen K9.

Animals, namely dogs and horses have been played a huge part throughout my life. When I was a tot my family had German Shepherd dogs and Wire Hair Fox Terriers, both breeds being dear to my heart.

We own 4 dogs, all Rottweilers, Bruce the original who is now 10 years old and enjoys nothing but sitting in front of the fire. Ruby who is now 5 years old and who competed at the IFR World Championships in 2023 representing Team GB. Her two pups Tara and Ted, who are now coming into their 2nd year will be aimed at their BH and IGP 1 in 2024 with hope to becoming our future World Championship contenders.
I still own my own horses, a Dutch Warmblood called Snoopy who I compete at Advanced dressage level and Hugo.

Hugo was born in May 2016 and was bred by Eva-Marie Broomer in the UK. I bought him at 8 weeks old. Hugo was backed in the summer of 2019 and left to mature once he arrived in France in September. Always up to no good and usually found in a different field most days, Hugo is an escape artist.

Stunningly beautiful and very affectionate, I hope he follows Snoopy's hoof steps into the dressage arena very soon.

In my teenage years I showed horses, so bathing, trimming, polishing and plaiting comes natural to me. I love all things “make over” so seeing a dog arrive dirty and a bit scruffy and seeing them leave all transformed is why I just love dog grooming.
After gaining full City & Guilds qualifications, my first salon was set up at home in the UK and when my partner and I emigrated to France in 2019, I brought all of my equipment with me and set up my new salon here. Having owned a dog who appeared to be allergic to pretty much everything, I will only use the very best natural products on the market and I use only natural and organic products to groom your dog too. I also use the top of the range K9 Hydrobath, which penetrates the coat, easily massaging the skin and relaxing muscles as it washes.

I groom fully in accordance with the UK Animal Welfare Act 2006.

I have the facilities and experience needed to support and cater for all dogs, including first timers, those who are timid and worries, elderly dogs and big working dogs.

The welfare of the dog and customer satisfaction is top priority. I am City and Guilds Qualified and fully insured.

Please do get in touch to discuss your dog's requirements.
